Deliveries and returns

1. DELIVERY TERMS

Trudon delivers the Products ordered only in the countries of the European Union, (excluding post office boxes, DOM-TOM, Cyprus and Malta).

Trudon reserves the right to condition the dispatch of the order upon full payment of the price by the Customer.

Two delivery methods are available:

  • sent by Colissimo or Chronopost to your home for mainland France and Monaco.
  • shipped by UPS for Europe and International

For Colissimo: Any order placed before 10 a.m. will receive its order within 1 working day. After 10 a.m. orders will be received 2 working days.

For UPS: Delivery between 2 to 5 working days.


The Customer will be informed by e-mail that the package has been taken over by the carrier. He will then be given a delivery number that will allow him to follow the delivery of his order in real time.

If the Customer cannot take physical possession of the order on the scheduled day of delivery, he may:

  • or schedule a new delivery,
  • or collect the package from a pick-up point.

3. RECEIPT OF PRODUCTS

Upon delivery of the order, the Customer must check the conformity and the status of his order in the presence of the carrier and issue, if necessary, all useful reservations concerning apparent defects (missing product, damaged package).

The Customer is invited to contact the Customer Service of the Trudon online store (contact form) within fourteen (14) working days following receipt of the products. Unless there is a legitimate reason, any complaint made after this period will be considered inadmissible.

4. PRODUCT RETURN

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with the provisions of Articles L221-18 to L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the Customer has the possibility, without reason, to withdraw from his order within fourteen (14) days from the day of receipt of the product(s) ordered, the date appearing on the carrier's receipt signed by the Customer being authentic.

In case of split delivery, it is the delivery date of the last good that will be taken into account. When this period of fourteen (14) days expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended until the next working day.

As a reminder, the right of withdrawal only concerns consumers and non-professionals.

EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The Customer must express his unequivocal desire to withdraw. In order to facilitate the exercise of the right of withdrawal by the Client, Trudon has established a withdrawal form (link to the withdrawal form) which it is recommended to use for any request for withdrawal. The Customer completes the form and returns it by post to the following address, Trudon, 23 rue d'Anjou, 75008 Paris, or by means of the contact form, which allows a file to be attached to the request, and which is accessible via the following link: contact form.

Even if its use is recommended, since it avoids misunderstandings as to the purpose of his request, the Customer is not required to use this withdrawal form. In any case, the Customer must demonstrate his desire to withdraw from the contract in a clear and unequivocal manner. There should be no doubts. He may use the postal address or e-mail address indicated above to inform Trudon of his withdrawal, on any medium and in any way whatsoever.

RETURN TERMS

Each Product must be returned new with its original packaging. Trudon will not make any refunds if the Products returned by the Customer do not correspond to the product(s) ordered or have an origin other than the Site.

The return postage will be borne by Trudon, who will send the shipping label inside the package. Before the return, the Customer must contact contact@trudon.com to explain the reason for sending it.

The Customer must then drop off the package at the corresponding collection point of his choice. The Customer will then be refunded upon receipt of the product(s).

REIMBURSEMENT OF THE ORDER

Trudon will refund the returned products, as well as the delivery costs, by crediting the bank card used for payment. In the event of partial return of the products, the delivery costs will not be reimbursed by Trudon insofar as the Customer will have benefited from the delivery service for the products kept. Reimbursement will take place within a maximum period of fourteen (14) days following (i) the return of the products or (ii) the the date on which the Customer provided proof of shipment of the products (the date used being that of the first of these facts).

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Complaints relating to Products ordered on the Site, including those aimed at the exchange of Products, are handled exclusively via the Site's after-sales service, which can be contacted using the contact form contact form.

The shops of the Trudon brand as well as any point of sale of the brand's products cannot under any circumstances be solicited for complaints related to an order on the Site.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Trudon cannot be held responsible for the non-performance or incomplete performance of one of its obligations if the poor performance of the contract results from a case of force majeure as defined by law, due to the fact even from the Customer or from the unforeseeable and insurmountable fact of a third party to the contract.

The Products must be used in accordance with the recommendations for use accompanying each Product. The modification of the Product, its transformation, its misuse or its use not in accordance with these recommendations may cause damage for which Trudon cannot be held liable.

LEGAL GUARANTEES

Trudon does not offer any warranties other than the legal warranties.

NON-COMPLIANCE AND HIDDEN DEFECTS

Trudon is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity and that relating to defects in the thing sold.

The Customer is invited to check the conformity of the products received in execution of his order and, in the event of a defect, to contact the Customer Service Department of the Trudon online store, which will take care of him by indicating the terms of return and replacement or refund. In the event of non-compliance or a proven defect, the costs of returning the Product are borne by Trudon.

The replacement product will not be delivered until Trudon has received the defective product. If replacement of the product is impossible or cannot be implemented within one (1) month of receipt of the defective product by Trudon, the Customer will then have the choice between:

  • Return the product and request a refund,
  • Or keep the product and ask Trudon to reimburse part of the price of said product.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

If the products returned by the Customer do not correspond to the products ordered and have an origin other than the Trudon online store, Trudon will not be bound by its obligations described in article 9.1 above.
